・If you have rooted your device even once, the app may not start or work properly.
*Even if you have installed the tools required for rooting, you may encounter errors.
・To use biometric authentication, you must log in to the app and then register.
・If you are using a smartphone with Android 10 or below, your phone number will be collected when you log in and stored and used within the bank to improve security.

Just awful in every way. Signing up on the app is just about impossible if you have a foreign name. Furthermore, the app doesn't allow Google to interact with it, so I can't translate the UI, and I can't take screenshots to translate that way as well. I only use this app because I have no other options with my workplace.

It's the absolute worst. Making a simple transfer has become an utter nightmare. And the registration process has me wanting to pull my hair out. Error after error after error to then tell you that my specific case cannot be accepted. I can't wrap my head around who designed this and, even worse, who approved it. You are literally a bank. Surely you can afford to do a better job at this good grief!

I only installed the app because of the one-time password functionality, but reading through the verbose Japanese instructions it turns out that you cannot use it when you are abroad (which is not rare if you're an expat), making it pretty useless to me. I also don't like that the app makes a list of all your installed apps. I understand that it's done for security reasons, but it sounds like a big invasion of privacy if that list is being sent to a server somewhere!
