There is no difference in features other than the presence or absence of advertisements for the paid version and the free version.
If you purchase the Remove Ads Add-on, the ads will not be displayed and there will be no difference from the paid version of ibis Paint.

- Only when you are using or going to use SonarPen, the app collects audio signal from microphone. The collected data is only used for communication with SonarPen, and is never saved nor sent to anywhere.

I started on the free version back in 2018 and I've loved it. But recently I've had problems with it. I tried to use a large canvas and it was a little laggy. Then, it started crashing and now I can't even open the piece without it crashing and I spent nearly four hours on it. Then I started an animation with a canvas of 654 x 654, much smaller than my usual canvases. And four hours in, the app crashed and corrupted the file and when I try to restore it, it crashes and can't restore it.

This app is good sometimes, but I feel like they lock so many features under an unnecessary paywall. I already paid for the premium version of the app, I shouldn't have to pay a "prime subscription" for the rest of the features that I thought I would be getting after paying. Not to mention that some of the "prime features" are already available in some parts of the app.

this app has a very smooth drawing experience and many brushes and features that are easy to use. my only problem is the subscription, you still have to pay for certain things with the subscription like more storage, filters, materials, etc. even after paying for the app all you really get is no ads on the brushes and canvas which is i guess fine, but i would like to not pay again after i just payed for a whole app
