You can easily make a cashless payment in a Tokyo Musen Taxi driving around town by using Tower Pay on the ride!

Tokyo Musen Taxi
This application allows you to call a taxi very quickly to your current location through simple operations using maps.

This service leverages the 4,400 taxis affiliated with the Tokyo Musen Cooperative to find the taxi that can get to your specified location the fastest.

Features

1. You can specify the pick-up location for a taxi by using a map. Taxis can be ordered from within the 23 wards of Tokyo along with Musashino and Mitaka cities.
2. You can order the immediate dispatch of a single taxi in as little as three taps.
3. Up to 5 taxis can be called in one order.
4. Tower Pay is available once you register a credit card, eliminating the need to pay in the taxi and receive a receipt.
5. You can communicate with the driver using predefined chat messages by using [Message] function
6. You can register pick-up locations that you use frequently by using the [Registered locations] function.
7. You can specify a scheduled time and date when placing an order for a taxi.
8. You can order a taxi at a fixed rate in the areas between Haneda Airport, Narita Airport and Tokyo Disney Resort.
9. You can find out the approximate fare for a taxi by using the [Find out the fare] function.

Sequence for Ordering Taxis
=======================================

1. Set your information (cell phone number and name) under [Settings], then check and consent to the terms of use.
2. Please use SMS verification using your phone number.
3. You can process payments online by registering a credit card in advance.
(E-mail address verification is required.)
4. On the [order] screen, press the [Zoom in and specify the location] button, and move the [Pick up here] marker to the pick-up location for the taxi.
(As much as possible, point along the street where a taxi can easily wait.)
5. If calling a single taxi, press the [Call one taxi immediately] button. If you want to specify various conditions, press the [Option Settings] button. This will start the search for taxis close to you.
6. When the taxi has been arranged, you will be informed of its radio number and estimated time of arrival. This completes the order.
7. Around the estimated time of arrival, please check that the taxi has come.
(Arrival times may vary depending on traffic conditions and other factors.)
8.As you board, the driver will ask for your name: please respond with the name specified in the settings.

Points to Note

1. You will need communication to use this application.
2. The application uses features such as GPS to acquire users’ position information. On some occasions it may not be possible to acquire this position information accurately depending on the weather or signal strength.
3. When you use this application to order a taxi, a pick-up charge of 400 yen will be added to the meter fare in the same way as when an order is placed by telephone.
4. Depending on the traffic and other conditions, a taxi will be selected that can arrive in about 5 to 15 minutes.
5. This application includes a function for acquiring the telephone number set for your device.

意味ない。インターフェイスはデフォルトで英語になっているが、タクシーを予約しようとすると日本語でしか利用できないと表示されるので、[配車センターに電話してください]って。 しかし、インターフェイスを日本語に変更する方法はない。 全体的に、古いスタイルのグラフィックと遅いナビゲーションで操作しにくい。他のアプリを使うことをお勧めする。 The interface defaults to English but when you try to reserve a taxi it says the service is only available in Japanese, so have to call the dispatch center. But there's no way to change the interface to Japanese. Overall, difficult to navigate with old style graphics and slow navigation. I recommend using a different app.
