This app will access the network on a regular basis and notify you if communication fails.

When the scheduled operation is started, it pings the default gateway periodically (every 15 minutes by default, or at irregular intervals depending on the power saving function of the OS) to check the response. Notifies you if the connection fails 3 times. Check communication even if the screen is off. However, it is not checked when Wi-Fi is off.

Mostly useless. It's decent enough when WiFi is connected and being difficult. However, it refuses to be helpful when my phone disconnects with "authentication error" issues. All I want is for the app to toggle the setting when it LOSES CONNECTION. Or at least a button to force it to do the one thing it's for. Uninstalled.

wifi set to always on, came home swiped screen and saw no wifi. checked this app, changed check wifi to 60sec, never reconnected. find out wifi was turned OFF, which i didn't do. so either droid or something is violating my wifi always on policy. and pissing me off!

It said it cancelled when the connection failed. Trying to connect to hotel wifi.
