It does the job, but navigating is somewhat complicated and unintuitive. You can select a frame from a small selection and you have to tap arrows to go the previous or next selection of frames. This wouldn't be so bad except that the number of selected frames is too large to all be shown at once, so you have to slide to move between those. The developers should pick between either just sliding between frames, or just arrows to go to the previous or next group of frames without needing to slide.

The app is by far the most useful I've tried in getting the photo(s) you want out of a video (one of my videos was 930MB & the loading speed was fine). The ability to scroll over several photos in the "carousel" of individual images was the difference in being able to choose a clear rather than a blurry one. _____ One drawback I faced was in choosing the right video, as no thumbnail image is shown in the file browsing mode. Thumbnails appear only in the "Recent" mode.

I say this as an old-school programmer and graphic designer: I have never encountered such an unintuitive UI as this. For those who wish to keep banging their heads against a wall, my only takeaways are: 1) If the app crashes on a black screen, your input file is probably too large; 2) if the app crashes while displaying a couple of frames from your video, then I don't know what to tell you other than: I have never encountered such an unintuitive UI as this. Oh, and good luck. Uninstalling.
