Ars Moriendi focuses on the sick and dying in our society. With the help of the app, digital images of people in Munich's urban space who are actively dealing with the end of their lives can be made visible. What stories do they have to tell us? Can you give us some life advice? Are they still alive whose voices we hear here?
Ars Moriendi is a long-term project developed by the artist Gregor Schneider in collaboration with the Münchner Kammerspiele. It can be understood as a suggestion not to accept saying goodbye to life as a pure experience of powerlessness. With texts by palliative medicine specialist Claudia Bausewein (LMU Klinikum München) and the theologian Friedhelm Mennekes.
