I believe the app was removed from the play store for a while, its back and its mt first time downloading and it doesn't even LET YOU REGISTER. I've gone through making the account multiple times, once I get to the last step, (entering the email) I click submit, it waits a bit and then a pop up shows on my phone with the Kik icon but it doesn't say anything and the app doesn't let you log in. I've restarted my phone, the app, redownloaded, nothing.

If I could give this app zero stars, I would. I have been using this app for approximately six years. While it functioned well initially, the past two years have been plagued with persistent glitches and performance issues. I am unsure whether this is specific to Android users, but I was forced to uninstall and reinstall the app, which resulted in the loss of all my data. Now, I am unable to create a new profile at all. Overall, the app has become extremely unreliable and frustrating to use.

Really good app, way over populated with robots. At least half, if not more of its total users are bots. This gets annoying and frustrating. Kik should consider a full redo, delete everything and restart. That or have some kind of monthly user capta check to make sure users are real. Besides that, another issue I have is the app itself grows it's storage at a huge rate. Within 2 to 3 weeks of usage, the app will consume up to 3/4 GB of space. The only option is to clear the cache repeatedly.
