Memora is a radio station in the city of Manado which has a young audience segment with a target audience aged 15-25 years.

Memora is an abbreviation of the words Media Monitor Radio.

Initially Memora had the name Yapim radio in accordance with the name of the previous company, namely PT. YAPIM Radio was founded on September 23, 1972.

On November 7 1979 Yapim radio was bought by Luqman Wakid who was also a broadcaster on the radio.

On June 3 1981, Yapim radio was officially changed to Memora radio under a new company, namely PT Radio Memora Anoa Indah. And on June 6 1981 Memora radio officially broadcast on frequency 103 FM and at that time had its office on Jl. Mosque No. 6 Istiqlal.

Along with changing the name of the radio to Memora, major changes were also made in terms of the broadcast format which previously played Religious Pop & Malay Pop songs and then changed to a broadcast which played Indonesian & foreign hit songs which had a target audience of young people, who were then called Young People. And in that era, Memora was the only radio that had a young audience segment.
