You can control music players without going to home, swipe status bar and opening music player apps, by the overlap music control.

It is possible to control the 3rd party music player (play, pause, rewind, forward). In addition, it is possible to resize the overlay view by dragging bottom-left or bottom-right of the overlay view to show more controls.

Installed this after Google Maps stopped letting me skip back during podcasts while in driving mode and it has been a great alternative except for a couple of issues. 1. The buttons cannot be resized. You can change the font size of the media title and resize the widget area but the buttons remain small. 2. It doesn't look terribly pretty. On the plus side it works very well and is free. It seems to be the only option available at the moment so here's hoping for future development. Thanks dev.

Been looking for an app like this for ages and I've finally found it. No nonsense with simple controls and does exactly what it says, with zero ads. Only thing extra I could ask for would be another row to show the album title, but it's all good. Edit: developer added the album title row! Incredible work once again!

I was searching for a floating music album for my phone and found this. A little problem that I encountered was sometimes it doesn't show the correct album cover but after exiting and opening the app... or after few songs... it changed to its correct album cover. So I don't know why it's not syncing, maybe it's just me and my phone acting up or just a bug. Also, I wish the title and artist can be hidden and just show the album cover only. Still a great app for me 👌
