helped me evaluate on-device object detection on my phone. I have a Samsung note 9. Accuracy is ok but definitely not real-time speed. I had better luck with a network connection streaming video to a server with a GPU. Ofc thats expensive and uses bandwidth so its a tradeoff but this app shows mobiles are not yet powerful enough for doing this accurately in real-time

Samsung note 3, over 5 yrs old, still very fast, accurate detection of objects in dark room, on LCD monitor with TV (VLC on Ubuntu Linux). Very impressed with this small program.

Fast detection of objects with accurate estimate of type of object. All done within 1/4 second and offline.
