The Call believes that our efforts can move the world in the right direction. To that end, we've been providing spam phone number search services for voice phishing, advertisements, and other types of calls since 2009. Please help us prevent further damage by searching and registering phone numbers you receive.

1. Spam Phone Number Notification/Silent/Blocking
When you receive calls or text messages from spam numbers, such as advertisements or voice phishing, the app monitors in real time and notifies, silences, or blocks calls. (Note: Text messages are only notified.)

2. Alert/Silent/Blocking of Alert Phone Numbers
Even if a phone number hasn't been reported as spam, we display a "Caution" label based on activity and the presence of similar numbers. Depending on the alert level, the call can be silenced or blocked.

3. Important/Place-by-Place Phone Number Notifications
You'll never miss a call from an important/place-by-place phone number, such as a customer service center or restaurant. (If not registered, you can register it manually.)

4. Free Offline Database (Dual SIM Support)
The offline database, which is automatically updated daily, allows for more effective spam number blocking (even with dual SIM). (Updates are only available over Wi-Fi.)

5. Lightweight with Only Essential Features
It provides only the essential function of spam blocking, making it lightweight and easy to use. We haven't added any unnecessary features.

Notice Regarding Previous Text Message Notifications
After updating to Android 13 (Galaxy OneUI 5.0), the real-time search window for previous text messages may appear instead of the most recent. This issue has been fixed in version 1.14.25. Please update to the latest version.

Notice Regarding App Failure
If the app's "Run in Background" feature is restricted starting with Android P (9), app features such as the real-time search window and call blocking may not function properly. Activate [Applications] - [The Call] app - [Battery] - [Run in Background] in your device settings, or activate [Exclude Battery Optimization] in the app settings.

Notice Regarding Call Blocking Failure
If your Android O (8.0) "Android Security Patch Level" is after April 2018, access to the "Hang Up Call" feature may be blocked, preventing the "Call Blocking" feature from functioning properly. Blocked phone numbers will also not be blocked. Therefore, if your device is running Android M (6.0) or higher, please use "Silent Mode."

Additional Information - Starting with version 1.10.0, spam call blocking will automatically be replaced with silent mode due to a security patch. You can check whether the blocking feature is enabled when setting up blocking and spam calls.

Additional Information - Starting with version 1.13.8, Android P (9) and starting with version 1.13.9, Android 10 (Q) support call blocking through new permissions and methods.

Notice Regarding Delays in the Real-Time Search Window
When clearing all memory (RAM) using a "Memory (RAM) Cleanup" app (such as the "Memory Guardian" app for Samsung Galaxy series), the "Real-Time Search Window" may be delayed due to the app restarting. Please add The Call app to the "Excluded Apps" section of your "Memory (RAM) Cleanup" app.

Additional Information - If you enable "Auto Optimization" in "Good Guardians" and "Battery Guardian" for Samsung Galaxy devices, The Call app will be automatically added to the "Power-saving apps" list, which may prevent the "Real-time View" window from functioning properly. Please add The Call app to "Apps Not Optimized" in "Battery Guardian" or enable "Exclude from Battery Optimization" in the app settings.

Notice Regarding Delayed Top Notifications
If the top notification appears after a certain amount of time on a Samsung Galaxy device running Android 11, add The Call app to "Battery & Device Care" - "Battery" - "Background Usage Restrictions" - "Power-saving Apps Exceptions" in the device settings, or enable "Exclude from Battery Optimization" in the app settings. (For stock Android devices, disable "Battery" - "Battery Management" - "Manage Apps Automatically" in the device settings.)

The Call Access Permissions
The Call requires only the minimum permissions. (For Android M (6.0) or later) Access permissions are only required to use the relevant features. You can still use the service without granting optional permissions.

Since the consent method for the Android OS changed significantly starting with M (6.0), please use the software update function on your smartphone to check if your smartphone's OS can be upgraded to Android M (6.0) or later and then upgrade. Furthermore, since the access permissions agreed to in existing apps will not change after an OS upgrade, you will need to delete and reinstall existing apps to reset access permissions.
