Chaekmunui is a personal reading record app that allows you to capture sentences you want to keep while reading physical books, highlight them, and save them through memos and AI organization.

When reading physical books, you often come across sentences you want to underline, passages you want to reflect on, or parts you want to use as writing material later. Chaekmunui helps you capture these moments in photos, select and save only the sentences you need, and organize them into your own personal reading record.

Key Features

1. Book Registration

You can manage reading records by book by registering the book title, author, ISBN, and cover. You can retrieve book information via the Naver Book Search API, and ISBN barcode scanning registration is also supported.

2. Photographing Book Pages

You can photograph pages of physical books and save them by book. Captured images are stored in the app's dedicated storage space and are designed not to be displayed in the gallery.

3. Saving Highlights

You can select specific sentences or areas from the captured pages to save as highlights. You can record necessary parts using various methods, such as word selection, rectangle selection, pen selection, and area designation.

4. Notes and Impressions

You can leave notes directly on your saved highlights. Beyond simply collecting sentences, you can store thoughts and impressions that arise while reading.

5. AI Organization

Based on your saved highlights, you can organize them into summaries, thematic lists, impressions and interpretations, phrases for social media, and blog drafts. It supports direct input of the Gemini API key, utilizing the user's API key and quota.

6. Search and Revisit

You can search for highlights, notes, and page text by book. You can also collect only starred highlights.

7. Shareable Images

You can create shareable cards from saved sentences with aesthetic background images. These can be used for book clubs, social media, or personal records.

Chaekmunui places great importance on the safe management of personal reading records.

Captured photos, highlights, notes, and organized notes are stored on the user's device by default. We do not use advertising SDKs or analytics SDKs. Features requiring external APIs, such as book search and AI organization, operate only when directly requested by the user. Privacy Policy:
