In Daejeon, job creation that fits the characteristics of the region is an important task due to the weak industrial structure of manufacturing and the absence of large corporations. Accordingly, we are making efforts to continuously expand employment by attracting and fostering contact centers, and our association is also doing its best to cooperate with Daejeon City and related organizations to develop the contact center industry and improve the image and self-esteem of counselors.
Currently, 105 contact centers are operating in the Daejeon area, and 8,526 counselors are active in various specialized fields such as public institutions, finance, insurance, communications, and distribution. With the support of Daejeon City, our association operates various education and support programs such as training professional counselors, counselor family harmony events, healing programs, healing camps, and online education.
In particular, we hold a conference every year as a venue for information exchange necessary for the development direction of AI-integrated future contact centers, and we are continuously making efforts to develop the contact center industry using AI and digital innovation. In addition, we are working hard to operate master's and doctoral programs to strengthen the capabilities of managers and counselors and support employment stability by signing agreements with local and metropolitan universities.
