TouchCare is a remote healthcare monitoring service that allows seniors to improve their life patterns in the comfort of their own homes while benefiting from the peace of mind that help is just a touch away should it ever be needed.
The user wears the TouchCare watch and attaches discreet tags around their house. Daily living patterns are captured as the user goes about their daily life, allowing for caregivers to monitor activities, detect changes in behavior that could be precursors to health issues, and provide emergency assistance if needed.
The collected daily living data can show:
- has medicine been taken at the correct times?
- has the user done enough exercise today?
- has the user started to visit the bathroom more often than in the past? (can be a sign of potential health deterioration)
- how often and at what time did the user open the fridge or use the microwave today?
- how much time was spent watching TV?
- where did the user go today?
Emergency assistance:
