"Neighborhood Safe Shopping" is a location-based food safety app designed to help you select food more safely at the point of shopping.

By entering a product name or barcode, you can check information on a single screen based on responses from the Food Safety Korea public API, including recall and sales suspension status, warnings regarding hazardous foods from overseas, reasons for recalls, and consumer action guidelines. Based on your current location, it displays licensing information for nearby food businesses and official consultation channels, and also provides guidance on the storage of refrigerated and frozen foods by reflecting short-term forecasts from the Korea Meteorological Administration.
