About this app

Hou.la: The social platform built for creation and commerce.

Short videos, live streaming, a built-in marketplace, live auctions, virtual gifts, and private messaging—all in one place. Hou.la is designed from the ground up to empower and support content creators every single day.

WHAT YOU CAN DO
Explore short videos: Enjoy a diverse feed that matches your interests while encouraging discovery. Whether it's cooking, travel, music, comedy, or art, there is always something new to watch.

Interact and create: Follow your favorite creators, like, comment, share, and save their videos. Publish your own content, track your analytics, and grow your community.

Go live anytime: Launch a live stream whenever you want to engage with your audience, host an event, play music, showcase products, or just chat.

Support creators: Our virtual gifting system allows you to support the creators you love directly and fairly.

Shop with ease: Participate in live auctions or buy instantly from live streams or the marketplace. Thanks to our "open cart" system, you can group your orders from the same seller over time to optimize shipping costs.

Stay connected: Exchange private messages and receive instant notifications the moment a creator you follow goes live.

OUR COMMITMENTS
Transparent visibility: We promote a fair distribution of content to ensure new creators gain genuine visibility right from their very first posts.

Fair moderation: Our moderation team ensures high-quality interactions and strict adherence to our terms of service. In the event of a dispute, final decisions are always reviewed by a human moderator.

AI designed to assist: Our artificial intelligence is built to optimize your posts, refine content suggestions, and protect live chat environments—not to silence you.

A safe environment: Real-time filtering of toxic comments, advanced management tools for creators, and age-appropriate content filters for younger users.

Data privacy: Your personal data is never sold. The application is hosted in France, data is stored in Europe, and we are fully GDPR-compliant.

MONETIZATION AND MARKETPLACE TOOLS
Direct earnings: Earn real revenue through the virtual gifts received during your live broadcasts.

Fast payouts: Access your funds quickly, without prolonged holding periods or delays.

Fixed and transparent commission: A flat 5% commission is applied per sale on the marketplace. No hidden fees, no listing fees, and no mandatory subscription to start selling.

Trust and security: Every seller is verified to guarantee secure and reliable transactions for buyers.

End-to-end e-commerce management: Benefit from a complete marketplace that handles order management, secure payments, shipment tracking, returns, and refunds.

Professional live tools: Take advantage of a real-time analytics dashboard, an optimized large-format live chat, and direct shipping label printing.

FOR EVERYONE
Whether you are here to discover new talent, follow your favorite creators, host live streams, sell vintage sneakers, offer services, or just find something entertaining to watch—Hou.la is for you.

Free access: The app is entirely free to use. No core features are locked behind a premium paywall, and sending gifts remains completely optional.

Designed in France with passion, so you can fully share yours.
