NotifyHook is a local notification automation utility that forwards user-selected notification events to user-owned webhook endpoints.
Pick which apps and keywords trigger a rule, point it at a webhook URL you control, and NotifyHook sends a JSON payload over HTTPS whenever a matching notification arrives. It's built for automation, home labs, monitoring, and personal integrations.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No cloud backend and no developer servers — data goes only to the endpoints you configure.
• No analytics, no third-party tracking, no account.
• No location and no telephony identifiers.
• Auth headers, tokens, and signing secrets are stored only in encrypted local storage.
• Event logs are automatically scrubbed of credentials.
POWERFUL, OPT-IN PAYLOADS
• Per-rule JSON template you fully control.
• Opt-in payload fields — nothing beyond a minimal safe set is included unless you enable it.
• Optional device/context variables (battery, system state, connectivity, and more), each off by default.
• HMAC SHA-256 request signing.
• Custom headers, with sensitive values masked and encrypted.
RELIABLE DELIVERY
• Offline and failed deliveries are queued and retried with exponential backoff.
• Wi-Fi-only delivery option.
• A clear event log with delivery status and manual retry.
FAIR PRICING
• Free tier is fully useful: core forwarding, HMAC signing, encrypted secrets, and the event log are always free.
• Security and privacy features are never locked behind a paywall.
• An optional one-time Pro unlock adds richer variables, a custom accent color, advanced filtering, and backup/import. No subscription, no ads, no tracking.
