The majority of our cafés have been visited and reviewed by our experts; those that haven’t are clearly marked ‘on our radar’ and have been researched before being listed.

Ratings and reviews

I travel a great deal for work and the app has proved useful for finding a good cup of coffee wherever I am. However, the coverage isn't that great outside London and the other big UK cities. It is often better just to use Google. It is very unreliable outside the UK. The app also crashes frequently. I won't be renewing my subscription.

Coffee review app with a weird format - they only allow reviews for a small number of cities. So if the cafe is not in one of their selected cities you can't review it. I tried to add a city (pop 2 million, big coffee scene) but had to write a review about why I think this city should be included. Which is weird. Why would a city not be included? And why not allow reviews for cafes outside of cities?

Filters out chains, but curated? I am skeptical. Missed a lot of well known spots. If their selections are curated, its unclear how these people are vetted. I can get better results (unfortunately) with google, ignoring chains , and looking at pictures and menus. No way I would pay for this app.
