About this app

Paste a long link. Get a short one. That's the whole app.

cop.li turns any long, ugly URL into a short cop.li link you can put in a
message, a slide, a bio, or on a poster. Every link comes with a QR code and a
statistics page.

SHORTEN IN ONE TAP

Paste a link, tap Shorten, done. Copy it, share it straight to another app, or
save the QR code. You can also share a URL to cop.li from any other app and it
lands in the box ready to go.

A QR CODE FOR EVERY LINK

Every short link gets a QR code automatically, with the cop.li mark in the
middle. Download it as a PNG for a slide or a post, or as an SVG that stays
sharp at any size — the one you want when it is going on a poster, a menu, or a
business card.

SEE WHO CLICKED

Add a + to the end of any cop.li link — cop.li/example+ — and you get its
statistics: total clicks, clicks per day, countries, referrers, devices and
browsers. Anyone you share the link with can open the same page, so sending
someone their numbers is just sending them a link.

LINKS THAT KEEP WORKING

A cop.li link never expires on its own, and a name is never reissued to
somebody else once it has been used. A QR code you printed last year still goes
where you meant it to.

YOU CAN DELETE ANYTHING YOU MAKE

Every link comes with a delete key, shown once. Keep it and you can remove the
link at any time. We store only a hash of it, so we cannot show it to you again
and we cannot recover it — which also means nobody else can take your link down with it.

FREE

cop.li is free. Ads in the app are what pay for the servers.
