About this app

This app allows you to search the database of haveibeenpwned.com for a list of accounts (or email addresses) that have been exposed in a data breach.

Add the name(s) of one or more account(s) or email address(es) to the app, and it will check whether any of them appear in the haveibeenpwned.com database. Schedule a daily (or weekly) check and the app will show a notification when a new breach is detected. For each breach, see which site was affected, when it happened, and what kind of data was exposed.

The "Pwned Passwords" function checks whether a password has appeared in a known data breach.

The app supports light and dark themes, following your system setting.

Hacked? sends the accounts you entered to https://haveibeenpwned.com to check for potential matches in the database. When checking a Pwned Password, only the first 5 characters of the SHA-1 hash of the password are sent to https://api.pwnedpasswords.com — no password data is sent anywhere else.

Permissions:
- Access to the state of cellular and wireless networks, to decide whether a wireless network is available or, if enabled, whether the cellular network should be used.

Ratings and reviews

Such a great app! I can add as many accounts as I need, and it shows me where my data was leaked and what type of information was exposed. It's easy to use and free of interruptions. I'd just suggest adding an option to notify the user when something happens, like an update on data leaks. Also, as a visual improvement, I'd include the number of accounts I'm tracking and how many of them have leaked data.

The app does not let me know if Ive been breached or not. I type email in box to be checked. The little wheel spins. Then nothing. The app appears to have a message for me however I cannot get to it because after the little wheel spins for either of the 2 emails I need checked the app will go no further. I need this to work because I am no longer recieving my emails. I must have been hacked. Please help.

Doesn't work, or I inaccurate: I've checked with other scanners, and this app says an email had no breaches, I checked with others from different companies Paid and Free, and they all had mostly the same breaches on this same email I used in this app. So this is a huge fail because obviously coming up with no breaches while literally every other app does, is a negative for me. These are either fake reviews, or maybe a different inaccurate source. Idk. Don't recommend this app at all. 👍🏻
