Update: App issues were fixed, and the product works great now. Love them! App keeps crashing 1 day after install. Frustrating, I was really hoping this would work to schedule the opening and closing of tough to access shades. Reading other reviews, this may be an android issue (I have android 15 on Samsung phone). If i don't hear back from customer service, I will have to send these back unfortunately.

DON'T BUY. Pretty dissatisfied. After a short while the inside part that turns the chain gets taunt and they will offer you to send a new one for free but must pay shipping. The app doesn't work properly. It goes over the set limit, or disconnects from the app and needs to be reset and re installed. For the Mount of money, it's not worth the pain.

Dysfunctional and obnoxious app from a ridiculous company which thinks they're the next Google. The app does not recognize the local time zone of the device so it will open the shade several hours before/after the time you choose. This is a basic problem they can't fix. Even so, the app will not work without precise location permission. They just want to spy.
