Savings, Fixed deposits, Payments & Lending products on the Genie App are provided by Dialog Finance PLC a subsidiary of Dialog Axiata PLC. Dialog Finance PLC is a public quoted entity, which is a financial institution licensed (https://bit.ly/DF-CBSL-License) and regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (www.CBSL.gov.lk) under act No. 42 of 2011. And Dialog Finance PLC carries the Fitch rate AA(LKA).

• Common to all loan products facilitate on genie:
Term of the Loan: From 90 days (3 months) to 5 years
Annual Percentage Rate (APR) / Interest Rate: Quick Loan/Lesi Pay: from a Minimum 25% p.a to a Maximum of 49% p.a (based on Sri Lanka’s market rate, cost of deposits, customer’s risk profile, collateral & term of product). Loan against Fixed deposits: Fixed Deposit Rate + 2.5% p.a
Processing Fee: One-off fee ranges from 0.5% to 5% based on the loan type.
Sample Calculation: All loans are calculated using the standard Equal Monthly Installment calculation method.

Loan Tenor - 180 days
Loan interest rate - 25% p.a
Monthly Installment payment - LKR 8,951.41
Total cost of the loan is LKR 56,208.00 made of LKR 50,000 (Principal) + LKR 3,708.46 (Total interest payment) + LKR 2,500 (Processing Fee at 5%)

My app is being exited automatically. Once the password or the thumb scanned the app is being exited without any notification. I cannot use it properly. I m having a android platform. And it's updated too. I tried to get in touch with the customer care but they also haven't got a clue. Please kindly let me know

Hey, I tried to open a savings account, but the feature to take a picture of my national identity card is messed up. The scale is stuck at 44%, so if I take a close-up picture, it only shows half of the ID. Then, when I try to take a selfie, the proceed button doesn't work and gets stuck on the selfie step. Basically, I can't register.

Horrible payment experience. Old legacy app was much better. When payment requested the notification popsup. But that doesn't properly takes to the app. No other entry point inside app to approve requested payment. Push notification fails to load or cleared by mistake it's a single point of failure leaving users no other alternative except make repeated requests.
