Akuru is a free to use soft keyboard application for Android. It allows you to type in Sinhalese, Tamil, and English. Akuru includes both Wijesekara and Phonetic layouts for Sinhalese. Akuru comes with a lot of features like Voice Typing, Emojis, GIFs, Stickers, Font Styles, Clipboard, Text editor and more.

GLIDE TYPING (Beta)
Yeah! Glide typing is finally here. You can glide your finger across the keyboard to type words easily.

AUTO CORRECTING (Beta)
Now Akuru supports auto correcting for English.

SINHALA INPUT METHOD
Akuru supports both Wijesekara and Phonetic input methods. You can choose your preferred method in-app Settings.

VOICE TYPING
Akuru integrates voice typing with Sinhalese, Tamil, and English. You can start speaking after tapping the mic icon once. (powered by Google's voice recognition)

GIFs
Akuru can search and share GIFs for you. (powered by http://tenor.com/)

EMOJI SEARCH
Akuru supports large amount of emojis and symbols. You can search emojis with Akuru keyboard.

CLIPBOARD
Akuru will remember what you have copied recently. You can toggle this feature on or off at any time.

FONT STYLES
Akuru supports 23 different types font styles. You can use them to impress your friends.

TEXT EDIT
Text editing on your mobile never been this much easy. You can use arrow keys to move cursor around. And you can use shortcut keys to do bunch of things.

STICKERS
Akuru supports both still and animated stickers.

ANIMATED THEMES
You can customize your keyboard as you want. You can put animated live wallpaper or still wallpaper or solid color as background of the keyboard.

Ratings and reviews

Everything is good except two issues which keep occuring to me. There is an issue with the space bar. It does not response the most of the time. Second one is, word suggestions doesnt have hyphens for english. Either ways i am rating five stars because i like the vast dictionaries and the word varieties this keyboard has. Also for english language an auto correct option would be really helpful if can.

What the hell bro you created.this is awesome i can't measure my happiness.when i used flash board for past years but it doesn't shows in black on the bottom of the keyboard.it displays white all the time so i can't text with some one without hurting my eyes. This app is not 100/ superb because 1.I can't delete,pin in clipboard 2.i can't use my favourite emojies 3.there should be more easy to typing.typing experiece is not good enough 4.keyboard ui is not like interesting ui

Deserves 5 stars but app closes when i switch to sinhala. This happens when i untick "word suggetions". Please fix the bug coz i like this app
