About this app

"Basic system of microelement time standards (BSM-1)" is a universal system without industry affiliation. Practical approbation of BSM-1 in 11 industries confirmed its applicability for standardization of more than 80% of types of manual work.

BSM-1 includes 41 trace elements, divided into four groups:
(1) hand movements,
(2) body movements,
(3) leg movements
(4) eye movements.

Microelement rationing involves describing the actions of an employee through simple movements - microelements. This is similar to how programmers describe the movements of robotic arms or the actuators of CNC machines.

The time for each of the microelements is set in advance depending on the parameters of the work and is selected from a special reference book of standards. The norm of time for labor actions, methods and complexes of labor methods is calculated as the sum of microelement norms. At the same time, unlike traditional methods of rationing, based on timekeeping and photographs of working time, it becomes possible to obtain norms not only for existing, but also for projected production processes. That is, the rate of time can be calculated in advance, before the work begins to be performed.

The BSM-1 application includes
- a reference book of time standards for microelements;
- reference book of overlap coefficients;
- Calculation of the norm of time for the labor process.

The choice of the list of microelements included in the labor process, their parameters, the sequence of execution is carried out by the user of the application, guided by his professional skill, experience, logic and common sense. And now the BSM-1 application will take over the entire routine of calculating the norms for microelements or the norms for the labor process.
