About this app

Using the m.Parking app, you can pay for paid parking spaces set by the municipal councils of the cities of Vilnius and Kaunas on streets and lots where a local toll is collected and at lots administered by JUDU in Vilnius: Gedimino Ave. 9A, Bridge st. 14, T. Kosciuška st. 1A, G. Baravyko str. 3, G. Baravyko str. 10, Seimyniškių st. 23, Antakalnio str. 59, V. Gerulaitis st. 1, Šeškinė st. 22A, Liepyno str. 2, Sēlių str. 62, Parodų str. 5.

Easy to use:
- there is no need for pre-registration, it is enough to download and install the free m.Parking app on your smart device;
– the app records the exact start and end time of parking. If parking is ordered when the paid parking time in the selected toll zone has not yet started, it is activated when the paid parking time begins;
- the parking order is executed as soon as the car is parked, without the driver leaving it;
- the notification about the parking end time is sent after the driver gets into the car, before leaving.

Payment methods:
m.Parking is an option to pay with a bank card or through your mobile operator. When paying for parking with a bank card, there is no service order fee, while when paying through a mobile operator, the operator applies an additional service order fee. Advantages of the app:
– you don't need to have cash and look for the nearest parking meter;
– payment is calculated based on the actual parking time;
- the possibility to set the automatic parking time stop at the desired time;
- the possibility to receive an SMS reminder about the end of the service order;
- the possibility for one user to add several vehicles in the m.Parking app and pay for them.

Relevant information:
- the driver (manager) of the car, when paying the local toll, must follow the road signs and information boards;
– the car driver (manager) is responsible for the correct selection of payment, local toll zone, payment time, entering the car's license plate number and other input and optional data;
- the paid local fee does not secure a parking space and does not reserve it;
- the paid local toll does not give the right to park a car in the zone of validity of prohibited road signs or to otherwise disobey traffic rules.

If the app failed to find your phone number. Check:​
- Are you disconnected from the WiFi network (the user is authenticated through the operator's connection);
- Is data transfer activated on the phone;
- If VPN is enabled on your phone, temporarily disable it while you use the app.​

Ratings and reviews

Stopped working after being unused for a few months. Car details gone, empty screen when trying to add them anew or see the map. After I reinstalled, created a new PIN, added the license plate number again - the app came alive and even remembered the bank card. But, it was too late (I had little time and luckily there are other parking vendors). Looks like you have no incentive to get paid via the app; an oversight from the authorities?

Everything was just fine while in Vilnius, when I went to Trakai, I parked in blue parking area, however, the app failed to recognise the area automatically, so I set blue area manually, despite that I got a parking ticket. As turned out, I was paying for Vilnius (the app didn't warn me about attempt to pay in city I'm not in!), not for Trakai (I believed Trakai belong to Vilnius area). When calling them by phone, I found out that there are a few not much related business entities behind the app

A handy application for parking in Vilnius, but the disadvantages are very significant: there is no English language and the application "forgot" my PIN for the second time in a row. Or you just can't open yhe app and cancel parking. So it glitches all the time. Even on Pixel phones. Switched to an alternate app.
