Have you tried to black out a PDF, but the text underneath remains?
Simply overlaying a black rectangle to erase text allows the underlying text to be read if the document is copied. Fuseji is an app that finds personal information in PDFs and photos and burns it in, erasing the text along with the information. After erasing, it verifies that the erased words are no longer present in either the text or the image before exporting.
■ What it can do
- Open PDFs (up to 20 pages) and photos (JPEG/PNG) and find names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, My Number (social security number), bank account numbers, company names, etc.
- Display found candidates in different colors depending on their type. Tap to toggle between erasing and not erasing.
- Verify all pages before exporting.
- Automatically verifies before exporting that no erased words remain and that there are no unnecessary elements (annotations, attachments, scripts, etc.).
- The exported PDF is saved separately from the original file (the original file is not overwritten).
■ Documents are processed only on this device.
Reading, detection, redaction, and verification are all performed on this device. This app does not have permission to connect to the internet. The contents of your documents and any words found will not be sent externally.
■ Please Note
The automatic search only provides suggestions. There may be omissions or errors, so please check everything yourself before exporting.
■ Pricing
This app is free to use. The free version includes a watermark on exported PDFs.
Purchasing the in-app one-time purchase (¥3,980) allows you to export without a watermark.
Find names, addresses, and phone numbers in PDFs and photos, and burn them out completely. Do not remove the documents from the device.
