About this app

MSR Reader turns your Android device into a local workspace for compatible USB magnetic-stripe readers operating in keyboard mode.

CONNECT YOUR READER
Connect an MSR90 or compatible keyboard-mode reader using a suitable USB OTG adapter. A compatible reader and adapter are required and are not included with the app. Your Android device must support the connected hardware.

CAPTURE AND ORGANIZE
Create record sets, capture magnetic-stripe input, review and edit saved records, and remove records you no longer need. Choose a built-in pattern or define a custom pattern to match your data format.

EXPORT TO CSV
Export saved records as CSV files to a location you choose through Android's document picker.

LOCAL RECORD STORAGE
Magnetic-stripe records are stored on your device and are not uploaded to TCool LTD. Record databases are excluded from Android Auto Backup. A limited, device-bound trial-state snapshot may be backed up or transferred by Android according to your system settings.

TRY BEFORE YOU UNLOCK
The free trial allows you to save up to 5 valid records. After the trial limit, existing records remain viewable, while continued capture, new record sets, and CSV export require the one-time full-access purchase. There is no subscription. The price is shown in Google Play before purchase. Use Restore purchase to restore an eligible existing purchase.

IMPORTANT
Only read cards and data you are authorized to access. Magnetic-stripe data may contain sensitive information; protect your device and exported files. MSR Reader is a data-reading utility, not a payment-processing or card-writing service.
