Bus ferry schedules in real time, a detailed event agenda and a waste calendar with a push notification the day before are just a few of the many highlights of the "Beeforter App" from the municipality of Beaufort (Beaufort).
The app is aimed at both residents and visitors of Beaufort, Dillingen and Grundhof. The services of the municipal administration can be reached quickly in just a few clicks, as can the Beefort Castles, the nature and geopark, the generation garden as well as the swimming pool and the ice rink.
The "Beeforter App" summarizes the practical, diverse, social and cultural offer in the municipality on the smartphone. Hikes and bike tours are listed, as are the municipal playgrounds, all of which have been awarded the “Sécher Spillplaz” label. These and other infrastructures are not only listed in the directory, but are also noted on an interactive map that can be filtered according to the various categories.
An additional point is the navigation. All entries have their coordinates and the user can go directly to the location via their preferred navigation app. Another special feature is the coordinates when dialing the emergency number 112 or 113. The last available location is displayed when the call is made and can be communicated to the emergency services.
In addition to the reminder to empty the garbage cans, the push notification also enables the receipt of current messages that can be filtered according to the three towns in the municipality (Befort, Dillingen and Grundhof).
After the start of the "Beeforter App", it will be continuously developed and improved in order to be able to offer the citizens and guests of the municipality of Befort an optimal and comprehensive information service in the future.
