The "Honorable Family" certificate is a support program created by the state and implemented by the Society Integration Fund for large families with three or more children in their care, including children in a foster family or guardianship up to eighteen years of age, as well as adults who have not reached the age of 24, if they obtain general, professional or higher education or serve 11 months in the national defense service, and for families who take care of a child with a disability or an adult who has not reached the age of 24 and has a group I or II disability. Holders of this certificate have the opportunity to receive discounts using services offered by more than 600 state and private companies in Latvia, as well as in Estonia and Lithuania.
