ManaBalss.lv is a Latvian civic participation platform that allows every citizen to influence legislation. Sign initiatives that reach the Saeima or municipalities, and participate in the democratic process directly from your phone.

What can you do in the ManaBalss.lv app?

• Browse initiatives — find and explore current civic initiatives aimed at changing laws in the Saeima or municipalities
• Sign with bank authorization — securely sign initiatives using your bank account (Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor) or eParaksta
• Donate to the platform — support ManaBalss.lv with a one-time or monthly donation
• Follow your initiatives — see how many signatures have been collected and when the initiative was submitted for consideration
• Receive notifications — learn about new initiatives and important events related to your signatures
• Create an initiative — submit your idea for changes to the law and collect signatures in support of it
• Read news — follow the platform's news and the progress of initiatives

Why ManaBalss.lv?

Since 2011, ManaBalss.lv has been helping citizens change laws. The platform has ensured that more than 80 initiatives have reached the Saeima or local governments and become laws.

Secure authorization

Signing requires personal identification - the application uses Latvian bank authorization and eSignature to ensure that each signature is authentic. Payments are processed by the bank, and ManaBalss never processes card data.

Independent non-profit organization

ManaBalss.lv operates as a public benefit organization thanks to donations.
