This app is nothing more than a RSS feeder - loaded with ads including interstitials - that shows just a glimpse of an article, then one anyway have to open one's browser to read the article. It's better for users to subscribe to a web-based RSS service in their browser. *The developer gets another downgrade after their condescending reply.

I would not call the contents of this app breaking news, 99% of the content remains there under the "top" stories for days on end, when there is new news and you try to read it the whole screen is filled with ads and somewhere between all the ads are one or two lines about the actual story. not worth the effort of trying to find what the story is about

Unrest, South Africa. Wow. I don't have a TV and during the time of unrest I had to stay updated with the latest news to know what was happening to us. This app gave me that small peace if mind in an incredibly difficult time. It is worth all stars I gave and the download. You can set your city and get local news as it comes out. There are loads of other features I have not even looked at yet, I'm sure they will be great.
