I'll give it a three. The gameplay is decent and the UI is okay (when a check, en passant or castling occurs, the words in the middle tend to stay for about 3 or 4 turns.) My biggest problem is the AI. I've conquered the Begginners, Apprentice, and Expert leagues, and I have a 45 W record. 0 losses, 0 draws. A vast majority of the matches end when the opponent material drops below 10, they resign. Even in the two instances they were winning.

They put up a check notice, then took it back down because the cpu realized that it actually wasn't check. That's a level of incompetence you rarely see. Also, if the AI characters can have full length first and last names, we should be allowed more than six characters in our names.

Be warned. I bought the remove ads. And after I closed the app guess what is back. Ads. So I ended up buying it again, and after closing the game, the ads are back. Save your money all that won't is your money. Crying shame now days.
