வருகை பதிவு (Varugai Pathivu) is a fast, simple attendance register built for college lecturers and school teachers. It works fully offline — your student data stays on your phone.
📋 Quick attendance marking
A color-coded grid shows every student and every period. Tap once to mark a student absent from that period onward; tap again to undo. Marking a full class takes seconds. Enter today's attendance or go back and fill in any earlier date. Edit or delete any saved day.
📥 Import students from Excel
Bring in your entire class list from an .xlsx file — Roll No, Name, and parent phone numbers, plus any extra columns you keep (Aadhar, DOB, blood group…). A ready-made sample file is included to share and fill up. You can also link a Google Sheet and refresh the list with one tap.
📱 SMS & WhatsApp to parents — in Tamil or English
Send absence messages using mail-merge templates: write once with fields like {name}, {date}, {absent_periods}, and every parent receives a personalised message. Ready-made Tamil and English templates included. Choose who receives it (parent 1, parent 2, or any imported number column), filter recipients (absent today, absent 3+ days, long absentees, or all), preview every message before sending, pick your SIM, and fall back to the second parent number automatically if the first fails. WhatsApp sending is also supported.
📊 Reports & insights
Attendance percentage, class hours, leave days, consecutive-leave streaks, and last attended day for every student — monthly or overall. Color highlights flag low attendance, filters find students below 75%, and a monthly trend chart shows the class at a glance. Export any report as PDF or Excel and share it.
⏰ Never forget
An optional reminder rings Monday–Saturday at your chosen time (default 4:30 PM) so the day's attendance always gets submitted.
👥 Multiple classes
Handle several classes/sections in one app, each with its own students, templates, settings, and history.
Designed with large text and big touch targets so it's comfortable for everyone.
Note: SMS messages are sent through your SIM — standard carrier charges apply. Internet is only needed for the optional Google Sheets sync.
