Maze Hunter is an overhead shooter played by torchlight. You see the lit circle around you and nothing beyond it, so every corridor is a guess and every corner is a risk.
You start with a knife and hunt for something better: a crossbow, a shotgun, a rifle, a flamethrower. Guns are never carried by the dead — they are scattered through the maze, and you have to walk into the dark to find them.
CAMPAIGN
Five corridor mazes. You spawn at the bottom and the way out is at the top, so the path always runs upward. Your gear carries from level to level: the campaign is one long expedition, and only a fresh start takes you back to the knife.
THE RING — ONLINE
One permanent room, shared with whoever else is in it. No match end, no lobby: people arrive and leave. Three bands of risk — open ground at the rim, a colonnade to duel around in the middle, and a walled hall at the centre where the rifle, the bazooka and the flamethrower wait behind four narrow doors. Everything you carry drops where you fall.
SURVIVAL
The same arena, weapons scattered through it, and no exit.
WHAT HUNTS YOU
Bugs. Not bots pretending to be players — with a torch-lit circle, meeting a real human is the whole event, and a fake one would cheapen it. Bugs are pressure: they chase, they bite, and half of them are carrying nothing worth taking.
WHAT YOU WILL NOT FIND
No ads. No purchases. No sign-up needed to play. Free, and it stays free.
Maze Hunter is the phone version of a game that also runs in any browser at clevergames.net, so it needs a connection. Sign in if you want your progress kept across devices — or do not, and just play.
