Just updated to the latest version; it does not work. I can select a video, and it acts as though it compresses the video, but then completely locks up at "100%" and does not let you see, send, share, or save the results. I cannot find the supposed compressed video ANYWHERE on my phone. I've tried different videos. Advanced settings are blank. Feels very unfinished. Future advice: Please add a Tree-view to the file explorer! OR let the app select files using a different file explorer.

Not actually affiliated with HandBrake. Of course, they say this nowhere on the store page. You can pay 14 dollars to get rid of.... no wait, never mind, the ads are still there. You can pay 14 dollars for nothing I guess? According to their changelog they already "fixed" this bug. Mmhmm. Limited settings, the setting to "optimize for sharing" gives no ballpark estimate for resulting file size. Apparently there's also a "Handbrake.pro+ Premium" for Beta features...? Yeah, no, I'm out.

Invasive ads to the point of near unusability. Doesn't save video files to a usible device folder either so short of sending it somewhere or uploading to a drive and downloading again there's no way to access the encoded video. Use the real handbrake on a computer instead of this fake app. If you're out a PC, borrow a library computer, or use one of those dumb websites. Honestly anything is better than this app that's not worth the bytes it was coded on.
