Ratings and reviews

I really enjoyed using Shades. It has a unique layout and is not like many other news outlets. Yet it's still provides interesting news. It makes reading the news fun, entertaining, and digestible. The user interface was innovative and the user experience was a good experience.

Appreciate that the app collates multiple, often disparate viewpoints in our polarized world. The bite-sized notes are easily digestible, but having the link to full articles is fantastic for more depth and to see the original sources. A smoother interface on Android would be nice and, if being greedy, an option to make the background lighter in color would also brighten the experience.

I really enjoy the look and feel of the app. It provides a palatable and visually pleasing experience in a way we don't often see when scouring the news and trying to catch up on current events.
