Dorple is a participation platform that helps neighbourhoods shape their surroundings. Share ideas, mark meaningful places, document buildings, report improvements, and join local projects — so your voice is easy to hear.

Propose project ideas around mobility, greenery, culture, heritage, and more. Neighbours can comment and like, so strong ideas become visible in your area.

Mark meaningful places
Document special locations — from meeting spots to cultural landmarks — and help others discover what makes your surroundings unique.

Report improvements
Point out places that need attention and suggest improvements. Work with your neighbourhood toward a stronger living environment.

Document buildings
Contribute to a shared map of your area by photographing and describing buildings and structures.

Track your routes (traces)
Record walking or cycling routes while Dorple is open. See where you’ve been, answer short questions about your trip, and discover patterns in your neighbourhood. Trace recording only works while the app stays in the foreground.

Protect your privacy
Set privacy zones so sensitive places are not included in your traces.

Join challenges and questionnaires
Take part in neighbourhood challenges and answer questionnaires from projects you’re involved in.

Stay up to date with events

Privacy & permissions

• Location (while in use): needed for traces and location-based features. Route recording only happens while Dorple is open; we do not request background location (“Always”).
• Camera: needed to add photos to contributions.
• Photos: choose via the system photo picker (no full gallery access).
• Notifications: local reminders and in-app updates (such as project zone alerts while the app is open).
