Use Gifthings to create wish lists for special occasions (Christmas, birthday, birth, Santa Claus, wedding, communion, housewarming, ...).
Share them with friends and family via your favorite platform. Not only via email but also via Whatsapp, iMessage, Signal, Facebook Messenger and so much more. This makes it super easy for your friends and family to choose a gift, reserve it and purchase it immediately online. You can also set multiple owners for a list. Handy for birth lists, housewarmings, weddings, lists of the children or other lists that you would like to manage with several people.
You can quickly add products:
- Via our search function with filter system in a database of millions of items from our partners (Bol.com, Coolblue, Mediamarkt, Collishop, Dreamland, Radbag, Zooplus, Studio 100, Fun, ...).
- Via our barcode scanner. Have you seen a nice item in the store? Scan the barcode and add to your list. So simple? Yes, that simple!
- Nerds call it a scraper, but feel free to say "computer magic." Copy a URL of an item on your favorite webshop (Partner of Gifthings or not) and our home robots will do the rest. Before you can say 'scrape', we have filled in all the fields for you and you only have to click on add item.
- Add manually. For those who like to get creative or for whom for some mysterious reason previous options did not work, you can also add items manually.
Parties! You can also use Gifthings to organize your party. Some call it drawing lots or names, others secret santa… We just call it parties!
No idea what to get or buy? Use our fun inspiration lists per theme. This way you can see the most popular items per category at a glance. Not in the mood for books? Manage your inspiration lists and choose which categories you would like to receive inspiration for.
