Basic idea is good, but the morse audio is full of clicks turning the speaker on and off again for each dot or dash. Result is that it's very hard to differentiate between dots and dashes. Input is limited to tapping on the screen, no listening to audio and deciphering it.
Good job.... But if you can make this app able to read flash morse code and also the sound morse code, like if person A showing his code by flash and another person B can read it at that instant by this app!... Then surely this app would be so awesome.....
only app I have found that forms the code perfectly! if you are trying to learn the code this is the app to LISTEN to! TX, not so much, get a hand key and oscillator for that.
Dots do not sound right. I used to do Morse code communication some 25+ years ago, had a junior grade in it (radiotelegraphy) and work on amature radiostation (ham). If feels dots must have less interval between them (especially easy to hear in 5,h,s etc). We used to have practise grids for letters and digits, where you would have , I think 5 columns of 5 random characters in each, and 10 rows of these. Same with digits. There were special machines generating such "texts" for practice. It would be nice the app to have this functionality. AND! It seems I can't paste copied from elsewhere text to the app from the clipboard! Otherwise great effort! Keep it going!
Morse to text seems so hard to input
I don't even have to install it to give this a 5 star. It's a wonderful concept.
