Peanut is the global money app for lives that don't fit in one country. Send money to anyone. Pay into any local system.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
- Pay like a local. Mercado Pago QR at more than a million merchants in Argentina. Pix QR in Brazil, confirmed in seconds, any hour of any day. The merchant sees an ordinary local payment.
- Send money like a text. Between Peanut accounts it is instant. To everyone else, share a Peanut Link.
- Split the bill. A Peanut Request collects from several people at once. Dinner, rent, the trip nobody has settled up for.
- Add money from where you already are. Bank transfers in 40+ countries, SPEI in Mexico, plus Pix, local transfer in Argentina, and digital dollars from anywhere. Take it back out the same way. In the euro zone, the US and Mexico, a bank withdrawal can go to an account that is not your own.
- Hold dollars. Your balance is held in digital dollars, so it does not move with the local currency between the day you add money and the day you spend it.
WHAT THE APP COSTS
There is no transaction fee to add money, to send, to withdraw, or to pay a QR code, and nothing is added on after you confirm. Your Peanut account has no monthly fee, no minimum balance and no closing fee.
HOW FAST, AND HOW MUCH
Between Peanut accounts, instant. Pix and SPEI, seconds, every day of the year.
THE PEANUT CARD
A virtual Visa card that spends your Peanut balance wherever Visa is accepted - online, in apps, and through Apple Pay or Google Pay where those are available in your region.
Peanut is a payments technology platform, not a bank. Peanut is 100% self-custodial. Funds are held in your own smart account, not on Peanut's servers, and all transactions are authorized by your biometric passkey (Face ID, Touch ID, or passcode). Banking and offramp services are provided through Peanut's licensed banking and payment partners.
Core send-and-receive functionality does not require identity verification. KYC is required only for features that involve regulated banking rails, such as connecting a bank account, cashing out to fiat, or using the Peanut Card.
Fiat conversion, stablecoin infrastructure, and bank-rail payouts are provided by Bridge, a Stripe company. See Bridge's terms at bridge.xyz/legal.
Card issuance and stablecoin-settled card programs are provided by Rain. Rain is a financial technology company and is not a bank, exchange, or asset custodian. Cards are issued by Third National pursuant to a license from Visa; banking services are provided by SSB, Member FDIC.
Fiat cash-out (offramp) is available in eligible regions and routes through Peanut's banking and payment partners via IBAN, BIC, or SWIFT-connected rails. Availability, limits, and processing times vary by country and currency.
