Do you own a Tesla and use smartphone navigation because the built-in navigation is inconvenient?
With Navi to Tesla, your destination is automatically synchronized with your Tesla vehicle's navigation system when using your smartphone.
Stop the inconvenience of using sharing features or manually operating your Tesla's navigation system.
It automatically synchronizes your destination with your Tesla vehicle's navigation system, limited to supported navigation apps.
* Supported Navigation Apps
- Tmap
- Kakao Navi
- (Beta) [Accessibility Activation Required] Naver Navi
* Important Note
- When using the app, the destination synchronized with your Tesla vehicle may not be your intended destination.
- This occurs because even if you share the exact address of your destination with the vehicle, Tesla may not properly support it, causing you to be directed to a different address.
- Please check that your destination has been successfully synchronized before you depart.
* Important Notice
- If the Tesla app is installed on your device, the destination is shared via that app. In this case, a separate Token is not required. (Supported for version 1.49 and above)
- If the Tesla app is not installed on your device, a Tesla authentication token (Refresh Token) is required to use Navi to Tesla.
- You can check the token through the Tesla Tokens Android app. (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=net.leveugle.teslatokens&hl=ko&gl=US)
- The token is used only for calling Tesla APIs and is securely encrypted and stored on the user's device.
- For users who share a vehicle, destination transmission is enabled only when connected to a specific Bluetooth port.
- Destination transmission is possible only in specific situations by integrating with external macro apps such as Tasker or Macro Droid.
* Information on Accessibility Features
- For some navigation systems, Navi to Tesla can be used via Android's accessibility features.
- You can enable accessibility services in the app settings. If accessibility services are enabled, Navi to Tesla collects destination information from some navigation systems on the user's device. - Collected destination information is used to share with Tesla and is not collected for anything other than destination information.
- Integration with existing navigation systems is supported even if accessibility features are not enabled, although some navigation systems may not be compatible.
* Information on the "Display over other apps" permission
- This is required when sending destinations via the Tesla App.
- If multiple destinations have the same name, this permission is required to display a popup allowing you to select one. This can be disabled in Settings.
