TOWER is a professional remote assistance service for blind and visually impaired people, as well as people with learning difficulties. Through a secure video and audio connection, you receive support in your daily life – at eye level, individually tailored by a professional assistant. Whether you need help with orientation, want to adjust your coffee machine, need something read to you, or require a description: Our trained team of assistants is there for you.

How does the TOWER app work?

After installation, you enter your name and email address, and you're ready to go. When you start a call, you'll be connected directly to an assistant. The audio and video feed from your smartphone are transmitted. If you wish, your location can also be shared via GPS – it's entirely up to you. We only provide support where and how you want it.

How much does TOWER cost, and do I need a credit card?

Using TOWER is free. You don't need to provide a credit card or any payment information. Should we offer any specific paid services, for example, for frequent or particularly long appointment requests, you must book these explicitly in advance via our website. There are no hidden or subsequent costs.

What can you use TOWER for?

You can use TOWER, for example, to find your way around the city, locate a specific building or restaurant, set up a device, or have clothing described. We're also happy to help you organize your shopping or take and send photos – always tailored to your needs and situation.

When is TOWER available?

Our regular hours are Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. You can also schedule individual appointments – for example, for a planned trip or a specific occasion.

Yes, absolutely. You don't need a specific request. If you'd like, we can simply make a test call together and show you how everything works. This way you can try out TOWER completely free of charge – however it suits you best.
