Your phone, your sound.
ToneSet turns any audio file on your device into your ringtone, your notification sound, or your alarm — in three taps.
Pick a file, listen to it right there, then choose where it goes.
HOW IT WORKS
• Tap to pick any audio file — MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG, FLAC and more
• Preview it before committing: play, pause, stop, and scrub to any point
• Set it as your Ringtone, Notification sound or Alarm sound
• Your original file is never moved, renamed or modified
BUILT FOR MODERN ANDROID
• Material 3 design that follows your light and dark theme
• Smooth animations throughout — a morphing play button and live playback bars
• Each row shows what that slot is currently set to, so you always know where you stand
• Remembers your last file between launches
YOU STAY IN CONTROL OF STORAGE
Android requires a sound to sit in the system sound folders before it can be used as a ringtone, so ToneSet places a copy there. Your original is left alone.
• A built-in Copied files screen lists every copy and exactly how much space it uses
• Delete any copy you no longer need, or clear all unused ones at once
• Copies that are in use are protected — ToneSet switches that slot back to a built-in sound first, so a slot is never left silent
ONE PERMISSION, CLEARLY EXPLAINED
To change your ringtone, notification or alarm sound, Android requires the "Modify system settings" permission. ToneSet asks the first time you set a sound, explains why in plain language, and uses it for nothing else.
PRIVATE BY DESIGN
ToneSet has no internet permission at all. There is no networking code, no analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising and no accounts. Nothing you do in the app can leave your phone, because there is no way out.
