AMAFA is a modern mobile application designed to eliminate the complexity and guesswork of personal and small business asset inventory. By leveraging advanced multimodal AI, the app transforms the tedious process of manual data entry into a simple, three-second action: snap a photo.

Core Asset Management:
- Asset CRUD: Create, read, update, and delete assets with rich metadata (name, description, brand, model, manufacturer, serial number, barcode, purchase date, price, quantity, status, emoji, color).
- Asset images and attachments: Attach photos, receipts, and manuals to assets with file info tracking.
- Categories: Organize assets into color-coded categories with emoji and descriptions.
- Tags: Add searchable tags to assets and components for flexible classification.
- QR code display: Generate and display QR codes for individual assets.
- Asset detail view: Full detail screen with all metadata, images, attachments, warranty, maintenance, and activity trail.
- Asset status tracking: Track asset status as active, maintenance, retired, or lost.

Components:
- Nested components: Add child components to assets, with support for multi-level nesting (components can have sub-components).
- Component CRUD: Full create, edit, delete for components with the same rich metadata as assets (warranty, maintenance, tags, images, receipts, manuals).

Warranty Tracking:
- Dual warranty support: Primary and secondary warranty fields per asset/component with scope, expiration date, and lifetime flag.
- Warranty status indicators: Visual dot indicators (expired, within 30 days, within 60 days, active).
- Warranty bucket analytics: Dashboard counts of assets by warranty status (active, within 60, within 30, expired).
- Warranty filters: Filter asset lists by warranty status (all, warranties only, expired, within 30, within 60, active).
- Warranty notifications: Configurable alerts at 3, 7, 14, and 30 days before expiration for both primary and secondary warranties.

Maintenance Scheduling:
- Recurring maintenance events: Schedule maintenance by frequency (every N days/weeks/months/years) with automatic next-due-date advancement.
- One-off maintenance events: Schedule specific-date maintenance events with 7-day advance reminders.
- Maintenance tracking: Persistent tracking records prevent duplicate notifications and advance recurring schedules.
- Maintenance notifications: Local push notifications for upcoming and due maintenance events.
- Maintenance summary: Dashboard and detail views showing upcoming, overdue, and scheduled maintenance.

Import & Export:
- CSV import: Import assets from CSV files with auto-detected column mapping and manual override.
- Spreadsheet (XLSX) import: Import from Excel spreadsheets via expo-document-picker.
- CSV export: Export assets and components to CSV with round-trip compatible columns.
- Export file sharing: Share exported CSV files via the native share sheet.
- Fuzzy column guessing: Automatic header matching for common column name variations (e.g., "brand" maps to manufacturer, "price" maps to purchase price).

Dashboard & Analytics:
- Dashboard analytics cards: Summary cards showing asset count, component count, and total inventory value.
- Warranty status chart: Visual breakdown of warranty statuses across all assets.
- Events timeline: Chronological feed of upcoming warranty expirations and maintenance events within a configurable look-ahead window (default 12 months).
- Monthly event counts: Bar/line chart showing warranty and maintenance events per month.
- Customizable dashboard: Toggle visibility of analytics, totals, warranties, and events sections from account settings.
- Configurable dashboard order: Reorder dashboard sections via interface settings.
