Client application for the e-Bar restaurant system (https://www.ebar.mk). It can be used as a main terminal for point of sale, taking orders in the kitchen/bar and as a client for waiters and management (auxiliary devices). Real-time synchronization with the server and all other devices connected to the network is enabled, without the need for internet access, it also functions smoothly in moments when there is no network connection (up to 7 days for the main terminal, until the end of the working day for auxiliary devices). Access to parameters such as: raw materials, products, norms, menus, employees, warehouses, points of sale, table layout, etc.
Functionalities when managing orders (point of sale terminal, auxiliary terminal/client for waiters and management):
- Viewing receipts by table and special categories (for takeaway, staff, reservations), with information about waiters, incl. amount, time..
- Placing a new order in an existing account or by creating a new account
- Selecting product options, adjusting an existing norm according to the user's wishes, adding add-ons to a specific order, as well as placing a comment.
- Setting a customer/user and discount on an account, and selecting an order type.
- Multiple accounts on one table.
- Reservations with orders and their automatic activation at a given time.
- Splitting an account, transferring an account to another waiter, transferring an account to another table, merging two or more accounts.
- Section for managing orders for staff
- Overview of all issued accounts and option for cancellation
- Debt relief for waiters.
Functionalities when receiving orders in the kitchen/bar:
- View orders by time and status: all, all not completed, last 30 min
- Accept and reject (with entering a comment) of order/s
When used as the main point of sale terminal, the application can be used by any employee, with the user interface automatically adapting based on the permissions of the logged-in user. In this mode, the following functionalities are enabled:
- Connection to a fiscal device (USB, RS232, wifi/ethernet, bluetooth). Supported devices: Akcent FP550/FP700, David FP/FX1200/FX1300.
- Work with fiscal: cash entry/exit, control report, daily closing, time setting, tax group setting (auto.)
- Connection to a thermal printer (USB, RS232, wifi/ethernet, bluetooth) and setting of marker parameters. All devices that support the standard ESC/POS protocol are supported.
- Automatic detection of problems when connecting a fiscal and thermal printer.
- Employee login with a single code.
- Connecting an RFID reader for employee login.
When the application is used as an auxiliary terminal for a point of sale or a client for waiter/management, it provides the same functionalities as the main terminal, except for working with a fiscal device, which is only enabled on the device to which that fiscal device is connected. Printing fiscal receipts is performed automatically via the main terminal immediately after closing the account with orders, regardless of which device it is done from.
To access the application, you need to create an account at https://my.eBar.mk and create a restaurant, or have someone add you as an employee. All other functionalities such as material and financial records, reports, detailed settings, etc. are enabled via the web.
