Social media usage habits and the time spent on social media by students preparing for KPSS, YKS, TYT, AYT, YDS and YÖKDİL exams are increasing day by day. As a result of our research, it has been revealed that Generation Z young people show great interest in educators who share educational content on platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. However, these social media sites we have mentioned contain many contents other than education.

For this reason, even if it is entered for educational purposes, attention is distracted by other harmful posts that may attract the attention of the student and a lot of time is spent on social media with non-educational content without realizing it. Additionally, we do not find it appropriate to use such platforms for educational purposes. Because anyone who wants can share on these platforms, and the accuracy and reliability of the shared content cannot be checked in any way. The need for a reliable social platform that will appeal to the social media usage reflexes of our young people and where only educational content is shared is clear as day.

Our main purpose in the "Education Social Network" Mobile Application that we have designed is to provide quality and reliable educational content to students in accordance with the innovations and habits required by our age, with the secure social media application with educational content that we will develop with local and national resources.
