Plakoto is one of three backgammon games popular in Greece (Πλακωτο). The other two are Fevga and Portes. The three games together are called Tavli.
Plakoto is also played in Bulgaria where it is known as Tapa and in Middle East where it known as Mahbouseh, محبوسة, Mahbuse.

Main difference from Narde and Tawla 31: pinning the blots. In Plakoto player's skills give more than 90% probability to win. Regular Backgammon gives only about 70%.

kinda nice but the dice numbers are definitely not random, and if u play with the computer, the first dice moves are so stupid ( I couldn't find another word ), then there is always a connection problem when u play with another person which makes the game stop for a while. so 2 stars are more than enough

Here is an honest review from someone that has tried many backgammon apps. This is so far the best. The interface and the menu is not user friendly so it may take you a while to figure out how to start an online game. But once you do, the gameplay itself is as good as they get. Could add the other 2 popular games in Greece? Portes and feyga?

The best plakoto app I could find. I know that there's room for improvement but I'm still happy to use it in the meantime. Is there a way that the app can identify players that have a history of cheating and get them to wait longer between games?
