MZL mission is to collect and protect the material and spiritual cultural heritage territories on the middle Oder, which after World War II was given the historical name "Lubusz". An important task of the museum is to disseminate knowledge about the history, culture, traditions and monuments of the region. Through the activities of exhibition, education, research and the organization of events MZL museum strives to create favorable conditions for participation in culture and access to education customers regardless of age, beliefs, education, disability or origin.
