Moon Cresta is a simple 2D shooter in the style of the 80's arcade classics.

The player starts the game with a small ship armed with a laser cannon, the second and third ship have 2 simultaneous shots.

Played this to death growing up so it was my favourite arcade game. I like this app version but the directional buttons and automatic fire are intrusive in a they're too big way. Would prefer a one touch automatic fire and smaller directional buttons , even remove altogether. Still a great game though but does it have the docking bit the original had ? and the meteors that came from both top sides diagonally when you reached a certain level ?

A shame this is so similar but left out the primary gameplay. Ships are supposed to begin by circling left/right in a figure eight before diving. These just immediately go to diving on you. Try again. You could have a hit if you work on it.

If you, like me, spent most of your free time, not to mention nearly all of your paper round money, in the local arcade during the early 80's then my advice would be to not bother installing this poor imitation of the classic game that we know and love because I can assure you that doing so will only lead to disappointment.
