PotroMóvil is an application that is part of a platform preventive security promoted by the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico, which aims to provide students participating in the program of international academic mobility a technological tool through which they have handy timely information on the places they visit and the possibility of registering your luggage before documenting it in the window of the airline, with information such as your weight, brand, features and photos of them and sharing your location and to issue an alert to your previously registered contacts, if perceived greater insecurity within an airport.


It is intended to act as a preventive and deterrent system to improve the security of travel of the university community that participates in the program of international academic mobility through various measures that permit providing relevant information to reduce the risks of the journey and stay.

The system is composed of a website and a mobile application (app), which will manage the information of participating university in the program, which contains data from the flight itinerary, insurance, place of stay and relevant data of luggage and additional information about the various embassies of the countries they visit.

As for your luggage, the application will allow taking pictures that will be stored in the system also during the process of documentation may notify departure (check out) and input (check in) in airports by transiting .
